Denali Country Ranch is but a mere self-sufficient outpost on the last frontier. Located in the heart of wild Alaska, we must provide our own utilities, such as electricity, communications and water, and all technical support. Left behind in the world are such things as radio, television, newspapers and phones. The word 'luxury' takes on a new meaning, and life still has many of the simple pleasures of the past, out here on the last frontier...

Our riding vacation guests enjoy the privacy and comforts of one of our two duplex apartments. Each unit has a private bathroom and shower, a bedroom with queen size bed, and a spacious living area. The duplex units are situated behind our main lodge, located on the edge of a small creek that flows through our property. Our sauna and campfire site are situated only a few steps from our guest units.

Our meals are all served family style, and at usual times in our main ranch facility. Lunches are packed in horn bags and eaten along the trail. Our meals are hearty and wholesome, and we can meet special dietary needs with advanced notice. We have plenty of desserts for those who still have room. Beverages and snacks are available throughout the day. You'll find that a drink from our cool, pure mountain water is itself a treat.  

Our guest study and dining area provide a comfortable and homey place to relax after the day's adventure.Evenings are spent discussing the day's ride, looking up new birds or flowers we may have encountered along the trail, and planning our next adventure, or just chatting about life's pleasures.After dinner, we usually warm up the sauna, stir up the campfire and offer up a movie. Guests often comment on the refreshing rest they are able to enjoy while staying at our ranch. Some say it's the best they've slept in years.
